so it seems to have gone beyond a mere peanut allergy I never thought about the joint thing. I always thought that was calcium related somehow. well I hope you get your taste back again Thanksgiving will be here sooner than you know.

Volume one will be 300 pages?!! Thats about the size of a manga digest or one of those Archie digest.  reaching 100 is quite the mile stone. so are you doing more thumbs or more like penciled pages?
As for CTS5 I've already done penciling the last last page so it's just now doing the final battle scenes which includes full page spreads (example the massive air war between the Chaos thiefs air beast and Artie's air armada at the Tower of Potentia) and the single battle between the Reapers and Breaddy which is about two thirds done. and the very last single battle between a certian god of war and a certian "wild card" also two thirds done.

So I'd say about 80% penciled right now. course once the penciles are done I'm going to ink the pages using the PC. It should be quicker and cleaner than doing it the "old way".

Gun runners... This is getting interesting.

Loving the photo of Brad Foster next to a stack of comics as tall as himself.  Shocked Grin  Looks like he's really, really, really into comics.

Well, I'm up to page # 68 of the roughs. I estimate that volume #1 will be about 300 pages give or take. By the time I hit 100 pages I'll be at roughly the 1/3rd mark. Progress is moving along a little faster then 2 pages a day now. Don't know how long that will last, but for now I seem to be in the groove of thumb nailing.

Yesterday I lost about 20% pf my taste again. This time around I suspect it's caused by an arthritis supplement called "Arthro-Immune Joint Support". http://www.lef.org/Vitamins-Supplements/Item01404/Arthro-Immune-Joint-Support.html I'm off the supplement, and will monitor to see if it's actually the cause. I expect full recovery in a few weeks if it is the cause.

Good to hear that the project is moving along. That's one huge battle you are describing. How close are you to finishing this comic?

44 pages. that's pretty good. just how many pages will the book have? sounds like it's at the halfway mark or close to it.
man I'm glad fall is here. I hate summer casue it's so freakin hot!!

As for my little saga, I've bought some more paper. The repots from the front lines of the SPS final battle are so far:
The Reapers and Breaddy are still going at it.
The SPS heroes inside of Potenital Tower have been "enlightened" and have turned the tide on Breaddy's shadow minions.
Captian Nibula and the Penn Guard get air support form Artie Boens Massive Air force
Chaochi and some SPS heroes have freed Grusby but are now under attack from all sides.
The Dark and Light SPS Gods with the help of the newly deployed secret weapon "Almalga" have defeated and destroyed Dios but there is little to celebrate. Universe sigma-x has been destroyed and Dios mentioned that he was only a mere foot soldier in a vast army of beings who are just as powerful or even more powerful than he is. Thus begins the war against the mysterious "Rejected" who have sleeper agents deep within the SPS itself ready to carry out their orders to destroy the SPS (A later story if I get around to it.)

Wow. You were right about the stark black being absent from the newer pages. It almost looks like 2 different comics now.

I am actually getting a fair amount done on the roughs lately. I've gotten to page #44 now, and am making progress at about 2 to 3 pages a day. I've had so many other distractions, mostly money worries and recently health issues that it's been hard to keep motivated. Not to worry. Unless I die suddenly, I'll have this done within a couple of years. ( I Hope )  Wink
